Kyle Burnette

With over 15 years of experience in the classroom and the field, Kyle has mastered the art of translating complex scientific concepts into accessible, “lightbulb” moments. He understands that many students don’t struggle with science itself, but rather with the way it is delivered. His mission is to bridge that gap, turning academic frustration into confidence and curiosity.

For the past decade, Kyle has taught science at St. Christopher’s School, teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This “triple-threat” expertise is rare in the tutoring world, allowing him to support students across multiple disciplines and show them how these sciences overlap in the real world. His teaching philosophy was forged during his years with the James River Association, where he led immersive programs at the James River Ecology School, emphasizing that science is a living, breathing subject that extends far beyond the textbook.
