Adam Rothschild, M.Ed.

Adam is a seasoned educator and academic leader with over 20 years of experience teaching and supporting students with dyslexia and related learning differences. Rooted in the belief that all students can thrive in mathematics with the right support, Adam brings clarity, patience, and a sense of calm to every class or tutoring session, whether he’s introducing new concepts or reinforcing skills for long-term success.

Specializing in Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics, Adam also offers expert preparation for standardized tests, including the SAT, ACT, and high school placement exams.

His approach blends deep content knowledge with individualized strategies to help students improve performance, reduce anxiety, see the connections between concepts, and build lasting confidence.

As Director of Upper School at The New Community School in Richmond, Virginia, Adam has led curriculum development, coached faculty, and advised students in academic planning. This fall, Adam is headed back to the classroom full time as a math instructor in Chesterfield County Public Schools. His combined classroom and leadership experience gives him a unique ability to meet learners where they are and guide them forward with purpose and support.

Adam holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University and a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia. When he’s not in the classroom or tutoring, Adam enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, and attending the activities of his two teenagers.
