Casey Zollinhofer
Pre-K & Elementary School Tutor & Executive Functioning Coach
Casey is a dedicated educator with 27 years of experience and a lifelong commitment to fostering a love for learning in preschool and elementary-age students. As the Director of West End Presbyterian Church Community Preschool, Casey has spent the last 19 years building a thriving educational environment from the ground up. Her leadership is defined by her deep connection to families and her ability to quickly understand a child’s specific needs to help them navigate their developmental journey.
A graduate of Longwood University with a Master’s in Special Education (NK-12), Casey specializes in Pre-K and elementary literacy and Executive Functioning (EF). She understands that the path to literacy is often paved with frustration, and she finds joy in turning those moments of defeat into the “lightbulb” moments where a child’s confidence finally takes flight.
Casey’s tutoring philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student must first feel cared for and valued to be successful. She integrates EF support not as a rigid set of rules, but as practical systems designed to make the daily flow of learning feel successful rather than a struggle. Her goal is for every student to leave a session feeling seen, capable, and equipped with the tools to navigate their day.
