Sarah Hubard, M.Ed.

With nearly three decades of experience working with students in kindergarten through fifth grade, Sarah Hubard brings deep expertise and genuine joy to helping children discover the power of reading and writing. She believes literacy is not only a foundational skill but also a doorway to confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

A graduate of the College of William & Mary, Sarah began her teaching career in Henrico County, where her commitment to nurturing young learners quickly became evident. She later earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Virginia, focusing on how to thoughtfully integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance engagement and growth.

Throughout her career, Sarah has worked in both public and private school settings, serving as a classroom teacher and a resource teacher. Whether providing individualized reading support or designing enrichment opportunities, she strives to meet each child where they are—helping them build strong foundational skills and, just as importantly, a genuine love of learning.

Outside the classroom, Sarah enjoys attending live concerts and exploring local trails with her husband and their two adult children.
